ERP and CRM are just the two terms which is used to expand the business and increase the general profitability of the business. ERM is Enterprise Resource planning it focuses on the business and helps in improving the effectiveness of business processes. This allows sharing of information through all the departments in a standardized manner. All the employees from the manager’s level to executive level all enter their information in this system.
If there is any problem in any area this system will automatically create an alert in other affected areas also and it helps the concerned department to plan accordingly to resolve the issue. In simple words ERP is a method by which the business processes can be streamlined all across the board.
CRM is Customer Relationship management, It is a system for storing and recording all the information that is related to customer interaction. CRM is a method to collect and share the data and a classified customer interface in a standardized way.
